A humble heart now finds its rest
The Diocese of Belthangady expresses prayers and condolence on demise of Pope Francis, Who has been guiding force of Church and world from 2013 to 2025. Pope Francis always sided with people who suffered because of the war, economical recession, migration and any other issues. Pope Francis who always stood as the conscience of wold fought for the marginalised. Speaking on the death of Pope Francis, Most Rev. Lawrence Mukkuzhy, the Bishop of Belthangady said,
“It is with a heavy heart, I come to know that Our Dear Holy Father Pope Francis has expired this morning. May the Heavenly Father receive him through the hands of Jesus in Union with the Holy Spirit. On behalf of Clergy, the religious and laity, I express my deep Condolence at the demise of Pope Francis. Pope Francis has been a great personality, Who made a difference in the ecclesiastical and civil world of our contemporary times. May his soul enjoy the eternal bliss.”
ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನದ ಕುರಿತು
2013 ರಿಂದ 2025 ರವರೆಗೆ ಧರ್ಮಸಭೆಯ ಹಾಗು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತಾಪ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಯುದ್ಧ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಹಿಂಜರಿತ, ವಲಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಆತ್ಮಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಲುವು ತಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದರು. ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಅವರ ನಿಧನದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿಯ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅತಿ ವಂದನೀಯ ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ರವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು,
"ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ರವರ ನಿಧನದ ವಾರ್ತೆ ಕೇಳಿ ತೀವ್ರ ದುಃಖವಾಯಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ರವರು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಾಂತ್ವಾನ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಧರ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಸರ್ವ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ, ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾದ ಸಂತಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ರವ ಅಸಾನಿಧ್ಯವು ಧರ್ಮಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲೂ ತುಂಬಲಾಗದ ನಷ್ಟಭರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೋಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ರವರ ಶಾಂತಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕರುಣೆಯ ಸಂದೇಶವು ಜಗಕೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ."
